About Ingrid

As a dedicated Community Advocate that is Compassionate about others, Ingrid Cooper is providing hope, help and resources to those that society has often over looked and the organizations that serve them.

After spending time as a mentor with Parks Youth Ranch & as a volunteer with both Star of Hope & La Casa Rosada, a Catholic Orphanage in Santo Domingo , Dominican Republic, Ingrid had the desire to bridge the gap & develop an impact plan of action to engage the community to create social change through Sisterhood | Advocacy | Education & Empowerment one conversation , one workshop & one individual at a time.

1 of the biggest deals of her life was deciding to become the voice for:

The need of Sisterhood, Education , Empowerment, Advocacy & Development .

She has been at the pulse of helping inner city kids experience normalcy while maximizing their full potential by opening the doors of her home during the transitional phases of foster care. Ingrid also actively engages in fundraising activities for educational scholarships.

She is a devoted Mother of 3 boys, former President of The Alliance of Dominican Organization in Texas where she spearheaded multiple successful fundraising campaigns. Through partnerships she has housed Sponsored refugee families from Iran, provided Holiday Dinner Baskets for Less Fortunate Families in Houston and the Surrounding Areas ; & has also worked directly with over 50 orphans affected by HIV providing critical health care, housing and education.

By sharing her personal story of triumph , it is with grace, bravery & charisma that Ingrid has become known and often described as the Change Champion who finds fulfillment and purpose in touching the lives of those who struggle in areas of abuse , transitional placement , lack of educational resources & confidence in their life.
